Top 5 Weird Things About Me
February 2nd, 2007

- I can’t sit still for more than 10 minutes without falling asleep — I dance around the house alot
- I’m constantly giving imaginary interviews (in my head) so I’ll be prepared for when I get famous
- I have an intense hatred for pasta with holes (penne, etc) — I won’t eat it
- I am deathly afraid of cats — I think they have evil powers and I won’t look them in the eye
- I was heartbroken the day I realized I actually wasn’t the smartest person in the world ( I thought they all just tried harder)

Sorry a weird sister, with even weirder friends. Thing is , you don’t see this one in particular, unless you have a microscope.

ohhh im feelin this topic…
1. I still use characters in movies and make them real. so my pet plastic troll back in the day was called Huespud Tracey. Gave him a haircut, he was my homie. Hue cuz i liked it, Spud from a character in trainspotting and Tracey from a character in White Squall. Havnt quite gotten over that loss in my life
2. Fall truely deeply in love with people I dont know. Shaka Hislop the Trini football goalkeeper and Bunji Garlin my delicious soca artist… its destiny. still feel the connection to Liam and Noel. I know we’re all soulmates
3. My dogs ARE my children. Lily Bhagouwtie, Bhagowtie since I got her in Kelly Village, which is a very East Indian area. Though she should always remember her roots
4. I am the best dancer ever. I can do any dance, you name it, breakdance, jig, tango, 2 step, african limbo, Im all over it. Can’t miss me on the dancefloor… and if you did… you wern’t there
5. Above average noise/music in a confined area ex. car, office… can’t take it. I will die, thats instant hives
Prefer to use the term ‘quirky’, weird isnt necessarily a good thing. But quirky, now theres a term Ive accepted and grown to love. I’m oh so quirky and oh so cool

Well here I go…
1. I am deathly afraid of toilets, when I use them I have to stand and watch them flush to completion.
2. I nearly have an anxiety attack when my hands are dry, I just can not stand the feeling. I am also very sensitive to aromas, so the only lotion I can stand to use on my hands is Aveda’s Hand Relief. Using anything else makes me nearly as anxious as using nothing.
3. I love gore, I love anything gross, the nastier the better, but I can not stand touching wet food it repulses me, I would rather do anything than clean food out of a drain.
4. Humidity makes me have just a serious of an anxiety attack as dry hands. I just can not handle it. The thought of feeling sticky alone makes the hairs on my back stand up.
I am sure there are many more, but that is enough self deprecation for one day.

I have a few odd fears here and there, like popping balloons, insanity, bullets, but I’m not entirely sure I have weird quirks or anything, although the following might be -
1) I used to mark on the price tags the dates I started using shaving cream , deoderant or things like that. I just felt it was a good idea to know how long it lasted. Don’t do that anymore though.
2) I really couldn’t care for labels, probably cuz most of the time I don’t give a rat’s ass about alot of things people care alot about like weight and consequences etc., but musical genres I am a follower of. I’ve even created two. Yup.

you mean like death parang? i’ve googled it and nothing came up. wtf?
February 8th, 2007 at 9:22 am
Death parang was one yes. *nod*. It still has to be solidified. I used to say Oasis and Blues Traveler exhibited nuances of Death Parang, but nowadays… not too sure. So the jury’s still out on that one. The ones in particular I was referring to though were -
1) Terrorist Jazz -
Borderline avant garde haywire music that might sound LOOSELY like jazz, but not quite like jazz. Kinda like how a dingo is ‘like a dog’ but not quite a dog. Over time jazz has evolved through many sub-genres like many other if not all musical styles. Exhibits SYMPTOMS of jazz but follows none of the traditional guidelines
2) Renegade Funk -
Similarly, a sub-genre of traditional funk but suffers from certain fusions with other genres (like rock) that create a more aggressive feel, or might exhibit darker progressions and feels.
….. did you really google Death Parang?
