Poo to the Superbowl

Anyone watch the Superbowl yesterday? Me neither — I never do. Who cares if Peyton Manning and his thug nose finally won a big, obnoxious, ghetto-fabulous superbowl ring. Not I.

What I do watch, though, and usually with eager anticipation, is the ads.

Well, color me disappointed.

Let’s get it straight. I’m an advertiser’s dream. There’s no one more easily swayed by the call of someone wanting me to buy their crap. I love stuff.

So wtf happened?

What happened to the Waaaaazzzz-upppps of yesteryear? It’s a slap in the face, I tell you.

My point is, the only thing that usually doesn’t suck about Superbowl is the ads and this year, I fell asleep after halftime.

There was one that I actually liked a bit. The one where they make fun of immigrants in a uniquely Mencian fashion. But I hardly see “next big thing” written all over it.

So if I happened to miss the next cultural phenomenon while I napped, please, do let me know.
