CUSTOMER SERVICE
To be sure, people are still idiots and it takes time and squeaky wheeling but every now and again you get through and it feels pretty good.
What am I gadding on about?
Received this letter from American Airlines this week after sending them an edited version of my complaint first published here.

maybe I should write them more about their terrible MIA operations 3 weeks ago which had international passengers completely confused and circling round and round with nary an AA agent in sight.
they were trying to send people to the self-service check-in, but there was no one there to tell people what to do or where to go, so masses of people were just in a line to nowhere
it was of course a Trini who noticed the check-in terminals were free in the midst of this line and walked up, got a boarding pass without anyone noticing and voila, checked in. the rest of us followed suit
