About

You know that random flash of brilliance that floats into your consciousness when you’re half asleep at 2AM and you hope to god it still makes sense in the morning?
Well, it only took my loud, drunk neighbors waking me up in the middle of last night to realise that without really knowing it, I’d been kicking around ideas for posts in my long-heralded (by me), long-feared (by me) blog and it was fine time I get going. All of the myriad emails I’d fully composed and never put to paper much less sent to all the people I love and should keep in touch with but don’t, well, they would now become posts. I could send them a link and be done with it. Call me lazy. I think it’s brilliant.
I pledge to:
- Use this blog as an exercise in creative writing *shudder*
- Be amusing, if only to myself
- Always use proper grammar, spelling, and the Queen’s English where appropriate
- Take a laissez-faire attitude to the direction of this blog — I’m very excited to see where it takes me…

Have you felt any quakes yet? The first scared the hell out of me when I lived in West Hollywood. I’m sure that will be titles to coming about this subject.

no quakes — thank heavens for small mercies. I must say the weather really doesn’t live up to the hype, however. A bit of a disappointment all in all.
